A car-free holiday on foot at Les Sablettes
Everything is walkable from the studio. The beach is 70 metres away, one minute through the park and without crossing a road. The jetty for Toulon and the islands is opposite the residence, two minutes away. The bakery, the shops and the restaurants are a few steps away, and there is a bus stop in front of the building. Parking on site is free, which means you can arrive by car, park it on the first day and leave it there until you go. That is what most guests describe: they came by car, then stopped using it.
Arrive, then forget the car
Parking at the residence is free. So the car is what brings you here, and then it waits. That is the difference between a well placed flat and a flat you drive away from every morning.
Daily life on foot
The beach through the park, the bakery and the shops a few steps away, the seafront restaurants in the evening. None of it asks you to drive or to park a second time.
Going further without driving
The shuttle boat opposite the residence opens up the bay: Toulon, and the islands. There is a bus stop in front of the building. Enough to spend a whole week without taking the wheel again.
When the car still helps
For the hinterland and the villages of the Var, it earns its place. The studio is not built to do without one at all costs: it is built so that it becomes optional once you have arrived.
